Rain has been teasing us the last few days, with lots of clouds and lots of promise, but not nearly as much actual rain as we need. While I was at Lake Alto Park in Waldo today, I was sure that there would be a good storm.  Look at those clouds!  Look at that wind!  The temperature was dropping quickly, so that it was almost uncomfortably cool.  In April around here, cool is not a normal temperature.

It looked like it would storm.  It felt like it would storm.  It even smelled like it would storm.  The only problem was, it never did rain.  The wind died down.  The clouds started clearing up.  The energy of the promise dissipated.  In short, the rain was a non-event.
