Lake reflections green
Of trees fully dressed for shade
Reaching out to water
Sunset touches trees
Pink, gold, and green mirrored
Floating on the lake
Between trees a glimpse
Of nature’s beauty doubled
Jackpot of summer
Trees against grey
Reflected in a single strip
Leftover raindrops
Night falls, the moon
Glows through crescent leaves framed
In soft summer night
